Our Root System
We believe that mentorship is a two-way flow, much like the mycelial networks beneath our feet. Our mission is to foster a culture of deep listening and organic growth.
At Earth Drifters, we prioritize the relationship with the land as the primary teacher. Team members are guides who hold the space for discovery, curiosity, and awe.
We value reciprocity, gratitude, and a grounded presence. Join us in weaving a stronger bond between our community and the wild spaces that sustain us.

Ashleigh Vaught
Founder & Lead Mentor
Ashleigh is a guide, mentor, and lifelong student and lover of nature, devoted to reminding humans who they are beneath the noise of the modern world. With a background in biology, leadership, human development, and well-being- and years spent moving between structured systems and wild spaces- she reached a moment that changed everyting. Faced with a midlife career crossroads, she chose the path that felt most true: creating spaces where children can slow down, reconnect and truly belong.

That path led her to the forests of Idaho, where she immersed herself in wilderness training and remembered something deeply rooted—nature is not a place we visit, but a teacher. One that shapes resilient, curious, and deeply well humans. Earth Drifters was born from that knowing.

Her work is to gently rewild suburbia—to create an access point for children and families to rediscover awe in the smallest details, to feel wonder in a single leaf, and to reconnect to the quiet peace that comes from knowing we belong to something greater than ourselves. Through Earth Drifters, she is bringing a new kind of programming to Dripping Springs—a return to something older, wiser, and deeply needed… a new way of being for our children, and for us.
"My commitment to you is to show up again and again-with presence, questions, and a fierce kind of love-for you, for your child, and for the future we're all dreaming of."
